Why a business needs a personal account

A personal account turns into self-service what now takes managers’ time: answering questions about order status, sending invoices and acts, repeat orders, collecting documents. Customers get everything themselves when it suits them, and staff focus on tasks that need a person. Besides saving time, an account gives you data: you see which products are reordered, which documents are requested most often and where customers run into difficulties. This data helps to improve service and sales. None of it is visible while communication goes through email and phone calls.
A personal account is useful when:
- customers often ask about the status of an order, delivery, request or contract;
- documents are sent by hand: invoices, acts, reports, certificates;
- repeat orders go through a manager, although the customer knows what they need;
- partners and dealers have no single place for price lists, stock and orders;
- employees need an internal account for requests, documents and HR processes.

What personal accounts we build

Customer account (B2C)

Registration and sign-in, profile, order history and statuses, repeat orders, online payment, bonuses and notifications. The interface is simple and responsive: most customers come from a phone.
Partner or dealer account (B2B)

A catalogue with personal prices, stock levels, ordering, settlements, closing documents and claims. Several employees of one company work with different permissions: one places orders, another sees documents and payments.
Employee account
An internal account inside the company: IT and accounting requests, documents, directories, the org chart, HR processes. An example is IntraLink, a corporate portal with personal employee accounts, IT support, an office map and HR features.
What personal account development includes

- Process analysis: which tasks users solve through managers today and what can become self-service.
- Design: mockups in your website’s style, convenient on both computers and phones.
- Development: interface in Svelte, back end in Python and FastAPI, data in PostgreSQL.
- Integrations: data exchange with CRM, accounting, warehouse, payment service, email and messengers.
- Admin panel: management of users, roles, content and settings for your staff.
- Testing and launch: functional and load tests, deployment on your servers or in the cloud.
- Support: a 6-month warranty and further development according to plan.

Integration with CRM and accounting systems

The main value of an account is current data. If statuses and documents have to be copied by hand, the account quickly becomes useless. So we design integrations from the start: which system is the source of each kind of data, how often it is updated and what happens if the exchange fails.
We connect through the APIs of the systems already in use. If a system has no convenient API, we suggest a reliable intermediate way to exchange data. See the API integration page for details.
How to tell whether an account will pay off

Before ordering development, it helps to estimate the effect on your own numbers. Count for one month:
- how many customer requests to managers are about statuses, invoices, acts and repeat orders, and how long each takes;
- how many errors occur when orders and documents are copied by hand between email, CRM and accounting;
- how many repeat orders are lost because ordering through a manager outside working hours is inconvenient.
If a large share of managers’ time goes to reference questions and forwarding documents, an account usually pays off through the time freed up and more repeat sales. In a consultation we will help you estimate the effect for your case.
What goes into the first version

An account does not have to launch with every feature at once. Most often the first version includes:
- sign-in and profile with roles for the main user groups;
- a list of orders with statuses pulled from CRM or the accounting system;
- documents: invoices, acts and contracts available for download;
- notifications about status changes and new documents;
- an admin panel for managing users.
Online payment, personal prices, claims, analytics and a chat with the manager come in the next iterations, when customers already use the account and it is clear what they need most.
How to move customers to the account

Even a convenient account will not work if nobody knows about it. So we plan the launch together with you:
- invitations: existing customers get an email with a sign-in link, and accounts are created in advance from CRM data;
- gradual rollout: first a small group of customers, then everyone, to collect feedback without risk;
- managers as guides: they answer typical questions with a link to the right section of the account;
- usage analytics: you see which sections are opened, where users abandon an action and what to improve.
A personal account on the phone

Most customers open their account from a smartphone: checking an order status on the go, downloading an invoice for accounting, repeating an order in the evening. So we design the account interface for the phone first and then extend it for desktops: large controls, short forms and important information on the first screen.
If customers use the account every day and need push notifications or offline work, the next step can be a Flutter mobile app. It works with the same back end as the web account, so logic, data and integrations are not duplicated, and the second channel costs noticeably less than a separate project.
Security and personal data

An account stores customer data, so security is part of the architecture:
- access control: customers see only their own data, a partner’s employees have their own permissions;
- reliable sign-in: securely stored passwords, sign-in with a code, corporate single sign-on when needed;
- encrypted connections and protection against common web attacks;
- an audit log of actions with important data;
- personal data storage that meets legal requirements and the rules of your security team.
Stages and timeline

- Consultation (1–3 days): which tasks move to the account and which systems we connect.
- Requirements and design mockups (3–5 days).
- Technical specification (3–5 days): features, roles, integrations.
- Development iterations of 10–14 days with a demo after each.
- Testing and launch (about two weeks).
A typical account launches in 2–3 months. If you need it faster, we start with a minimal version, for example order statuses and documents, and add features in the next iterations.
How much a personal account costs

An account with sign-in, profile, orders, documents and CRM integration starts at ₽1.7M. The cost depends on:
- the number of roles: customer, partner, manager, administrator;
- the number and complexity of integrations;
- online payments and calculations: personal prices, discounts, settlements;
- security and load requirements.
We use AI tools for routine code and tests, so timelines and costs are lower than with fully manual development.
